CP Nel Museum is pleased to announce that it will open its doors to the general public on Monday, 21 September 2020. In a letter dated 11 September 2020, The National Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture granted the permission to re-open our doors to the general public during the lockdown, this came after the Museum had to close its doors as a result of the National Lockdown in March 2020 for a period of almost six months.

During the lockdown, our businesses hours has changed to:
Monday -Friday: 09H00 – 15H00
Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays- Closed.

Safety protocols:
• Only 36 visitors allowed at the same time in the building plus 14 staff members.
• Sanitising stations are available in the building during the tour.
• Face masks are compulsory to all staff and visitors.
• Compulsory electronic temperature screening and sanitising before entering the building.
