• Address the current issues that pose a threat to the country’s
development trajectory
To identify proposed solutions in addressing the identified societal
challenges;
• To provide a platform for exploration of alternatives in addressing
identified societal challenges;
• To provide a dialogic platform for South Africans of different backgrounds and persuasions as a way to bridge past socio-­‐historical
divisions;
• To develop a pledge of commitment in an attempt to work towards
Addressing the current issues that impact negatively on the country’s
Development trajectory; and
• To provide a safe space for self-­‐expression and healing
